Tangerang – Kartunet is launching an Online Course program titled I’M Brave (Internet Marketing - Because Everyone is Able and Creative). This distance learning course is specifically designed for visually impaired individuals who are brave enough to accept the challenge of achieving success through online platforms. They can eventually become skilled e-commerce merchants or internet marketers, enabling them to earn income even while working from home. Information Technology has revolutionarily provided opportunities for people with disabilities to be empowered, especially for the visually impaired, who number an estimated 3.5 million in Indonesia. This includes opening up job opportunities and securing a better livelihood. Internet Marketing is a potential opportunity today, where everyone has the chance to earn income anywhere, anytime, with just a gadget and an internet connection. Through Internet Marketing, people with disabilities can achieve financial independence and even create job opportunities for others around them. However, the difficulty in accessing existing learning resources is a barrier, as current courses/tutorials are generally designed for the public and are not accessible to people with disabilities, especially the visually impaired. Furthermore, the cost of Internet Marketing courses is quite high, making it burdensome for newcomers to this field. Therefore, Kartunet has taken the initiative to create an Internet Marketing program – a short online course – to enable people with disabilities in Indonesia to achieve financial independence through the I'M (Internet Marketing) BRAVE program. As it reaches its 12th year, Kartunet continues to be a leading platform and a creative hub for the disability community. Innovation after innovation is launched to address the needs of people with disabilities, adapting to the challenges of the times. One such innovation is the I'M (Internet Marketing) BRAVE program, supported by PermataBank. With the support of PermataBank through its PermataHati CSR program, 150 visually impaired individuals will participate in this online course for free. They come not only from Jakarta but also from surrounding areas (BoDeTaBek), and even from various provinces across Indonesia. This Online Course will be held on the Kartunet website at https://kursus.kartunet.com for a period of three months. The course material covers everything from an introduction to Internet Marketing, basic copywriting, creating a blog, to successfully selling products on e-commerce platforms. The material format has been adapted to be accessible and understandable for visually impaired screen reader users, including: article texts, audio tutorials, and live streaming webinars. The I'M (Internet Marketing) BRAVE Online Course is spearheaded by M. Ikhwan Tariqo, a visually impaired Internet Marketer and also a founder of Kartunet, who has been involved in the world of Internet Marketing since 2014. Starting from learning the ins and outs of Internet Marketing in his spare time while still working as an employee at a foreign bank, he now focuses as a full-time internet marketer, working and earning income from home. Additionally, there is Dimas Prasetyo Muharam, a computer instructor for the visually impaired. He also serves as CEO and founder of Kartunet. Dimas has extensive experience teaching the visually impaired and the general public about Office programs, social media, blogging, web development, and more. He has also been invited several times to share inspiration and motivation at seminars and national television talk shows. Coinciding with the 12th anniversary of Kartunet.com, we will hold a thanksgiving event and the launch of the I'M (Internet Marketing) BRAVE Online Course program.
