In this place, thousands of souls broke free from their confinement. Stones and walls, scattered and fallen. The wind blows, carrying away the remnants of life. Blood and tears, falling onto the earth. Trees sway, then crash down Like a person stumbling.   The dust bears witness. The stones speak Of all the realities That have passed through thousands of ages That millions of humans have endured.

Beit Hanoun… Oh, beautiful and sacred city. From afar, I see you. Your beauty captivates the beholder. Your glow spreads a million sparkles. Behind your shattered form, A million memories are stored.   Beit Hanoun… Oh, noble city. Here they stood, carving every story That would one day become world history. Painting every hope, Cultivating billions of lives Of love and beauty.

Beit Hanoun… Oh, ancient city, full of tales. Now your memories are buried Along with thousands of souls that have flown away Along with days that are no longer vibrant. Destroyed, powerless. Lost, its whereabouts unknown. Withered, its bloom forgotten. Silent, its bustle gone. Only a grieving wind blows over the remnants of stones piled upon each other, Alongside lifeless bodies.

Beit Hanoun… Oh, small city, the heart's desire. Can I stand upon you? Can I feel embraced within your embrace? Can I see your radiance again? While now you are cracked, Becoming fragments of ruins where your original form is unseen. The blue sky, for you, no longer holds meaning. The yellowish morning sun is empty for you.   Now you are empty, uninhabited.

Who will return you to me? Is there anyone capable of making you stand again? It would take millions of days for that. Even if you rise again, Everything will no longer be the same. There will be tears that fall, There will be sorrow in the chest, there will be pain in every heart. Yet your embrace will remain the same. For in your place, love continues to grow.

In your place, your affection is still eternal.   Beit Hanoun… Your face may have changed, but your smile will remain the same As you once were. Even if there must be drops of sweat To rebuild you, Yet Allah, the Most Merciful, will not abandon you, Will not let you be nameless. With His grace, you will return. And I believe that.   Beit Hanoun… No matter how devastated you are, My heart is still bound to you.

My body still longs for your embrace, Even if it now feels cold and empty. But this love is still the same. There is still a longing for you.
