Some emotions fall into the 'Nafsu' (Desire/Negative) Zone, which results in low or weak energy (complaining, anxiety, anger, fear, despair, arrogance, sadness, resentment, regret, lust/desire, confusion, haste, trauma, exaggerating others' flaws, wanting recognition and praise). Others fall into the 'Ikhlas' (Sincerity/Positive) Zone, which includes gratitude/acceptance, patience, focus, calmness, happiness, enthusiasm, focus, hope, self-awareness, relaxation, forgiveness, self-acknowledgment, and giving praise to others. When we recognize emotions, we refer to them as feelings. Humans initially "feel" before they "think." This can be proven by observing child development; they can do whatever they please and are willing to talk about their feelings. Feelings function before thoughts, although this does not mean that thoughts were absent before. Feelings sometimes merely pass by, and sometimes they become excessive. These feelings, whether fleeting or excessive, are triggered by memories. This causes energy disturbances that occur as an intermediate process, leading to the emergence of negative emotions and their supporting behaviors. References: Sentanu, Erbe. (2009).
