When I decided to choose Communication Science, many people said, "It's a perfect fit. That major is good for visually impaired people like you. You'll learn a lot about speaking."

I nodded. But deep down, I wondered.

Honestly, I was worried for a while. From what I had read before, Communication Science turned out to be not just about speaking. It was far more complex than that. There were theories, research, media, psychology.

There were even courses on cameras. ISO, shutter speed, aperture. I remember thinking, "Can I really learn this?"

But there was one thing I always believed. Communication is me. Communication is a part of my life.

I love speaking. I enjoy cameras, video, editing.

And it turned out I was wrong. Camera theories like ISO and others could be learned by visually impaired people. By listening, by feeling, by understanding the logic.

Maybe I don't see the results with my eyes. But I see them with understanding.

I only completed 7 semesters. Three and a half years that felt fast, intense, but full of meaning.

I entered with doubt, and left with conviction.

That Communication Science isn't just about speaking. It's about how we are heard, understood, and how we make others feel seen, even when we ourselves cannot see.
