Jakarta - For those of you living in the Ciledug and Tangerang areas, the presence of Trans Jakarta bus corridor XIII from Ciledug to Tendean is undoubtedly a great help. However, if you're not yet familiar with the locations this busway passes through, please read on to understand the Trans Jakarta Bus Route Corridor XIII. Trans Jakarta bus route corridor XIII was newly operated in mid-2017. This Trans Jakarta bus route is special because most of its path, specifically from Adam Malik Budi Luhur University Bus Stop to Tendean Bus Stop, is an elevated road. Even better, this elevated lane, which crosses over traffic hotspots like Cipulir and Kebayoran Baru, is exclusively for Trans Jakarta buses. As a result, after Adam Malik, this route is free from traffic jams and traffic lights. Without further ado, there are six Trans Jakarta bus routes that operate through Corridor XIII. 1. Trans Jakarta Bus 13 Puri Beta - Tendean. This bus is relatively new and seems to be an alternative to address passenger congestion from Ciledug to Blok-M. It's quite useful for passengers who only need to alight before Blok-M. Here are its stops: - Puri Beta 2. - Puri Beta 1. - Adam Malik -JORR. - Swadarma - Cipulir - Seskoal. - Kebayoran Lama - Velbag - Mayestik - Tirtayasa. - Rawa Barat - Tendean. 2. Trans Jakarta Bus Route 13 A CBD - Blok-M. Previously, bus route 13A only ran from Puri Beta 2 to Blok-M, but its reach has been extended to CBD to accommodate the large number of passengers from Ciledug. However, from CBD to Adam Malik, bus 13A uses regular lanes, so it can also be delayed by traffic. Here are the stops for bus 13A: - Puri Beta 2 - CBD Ciledug - Puri Beta 1. - Adam Malik - JORR - Swadarma - Cipulir. - Seskoal. - Kebayoran Baru. - Velbag. - Mayestik - Tirtayasa - Rawa Barat. - Tendean. - Blok-M

If you want to go directly to Blok-M, it's advisable to take any passing bus, then alight at Tirtayasa and transfer to a Blok-M bound bus that has already turned around at Tendean. This way, you won't have to participate in the 7-10 minute turnaround at Tendean.

3. Trans Jakarta Bus Route 13B - Ciledug - Pancoran Barat. Bus 13B is for those who want to go to Pancoran or continue to Grogol or other destinations. Unfortunately, due to LRT construction in the Pancoran area, buses may experience slight delays after Tendean, depending on traffic density. Here are the stops for bus 13B: - Puri Beta 2. - Puri Beta 1. - Adam Malik - JORR. - Swadarma. - Cipulir. - Seskoal. - Kebayoran Baru. - Velbag - Mayestik. - Tirtayasa. - Rawa Barat. - Tendean. - Pancoran Barat.

Tip for those traveling from Pancoran Barat to Ciledug: If waiting for bus 13B at Pancoran Barat takes too long, you can take bus 9H (Cipedak - Blok-M route) until Tendean. From Tendean, you can then connect to other Corridor 13 buses heading to Ciledug.

4. Trans Jakarta Bus Route 13C (Ciledug - Tosari). Bus route 13C operates only on weekdays and not on national holidays. This route is usually very crowded with passengers heading to the Sudirman or Thamrin areas. Here are its stops: - Puri Beta 2. - Puri beta 1. - Adam Malik. - JORR. - Swadarma. - Cipulir. - Seskoal. - Kebayoran Lama - Velbag. - Mayestik. - Tirtayasa. - Rawa Barat. - Tegal Parang. - Gatot Subroto Jamsostek - Gatot Subroto LIPI - Semanggi. - Karet Sudirman. - Duku Atas 1. - Tosari.

For the reverse route from Tosari to Ciledug, bus route 13C goes from Tosari - Duku Atas - via Bendungan Hilir and continues to Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) without passing Semanggi. Then from GBK, it starts to enter Corridor XIII, which begins at Tirtayasa, then turns around at Tendean, and returns towards Ciledug via Tirtayasa. So, if you want to be fast, after GBK, just alight at Tirtayasa and continue with another Corridor 13 bus to Ciledug, rather than participating in the turnaround at Tendean. But if you already have a seat, there's probably no need to transfer. Also, if you want to go to Ciledug from GBK, if possible, first look for a bus that passes Tosari and board from there. If you wait at GBK, the bus is likely to be very full, and you might be repeatedly denied entry by the conductor.

5. Trans Jakarta Bus Route 13D (Ciledug - Ragunan) Bus 13D operates only on holidays such as Saturdays, Sundays, and national public holidays. The route passes from Ciledug via Corridor XIII, then enters Mampang Prapatan via Corridor VI. Here are its stops: - Puri Beta 2. - Puri Beta 1. - Adam Malik. - JORR. - Swadarma. - Cipulir. - Kebayoran Baru. - Velbag. - Mayestik. - Tirtayasa. - Rawa Barat. - Tendean. - Mampang Prapatan. - Duren Tiga - Imigrasi. - Warung Jati. - Buncit Indah. Pejaten. - Jati Padang. - SMK 57. - Departemen Pertanian. - Ragunan.

Some 13D buses go from Ragunan all the way to CBD Ciledug. However, if you want to go to CBD, don't just wait for this specific bus. It's better to take any 13D bus from Ragunan, then simply transfer at Puri Beta 2 bus stop to reach CBD.

6. Trans Jakarta Bus Route 13E (Ciledug - Kuningan). This is the bus route the author uses daily for commuting to and from work. Bus 13E operates only on weekdays, excluding national public holidays. Actually, bus 13E doesn't just go to Kuningan; it turns around at its final stop, Halimun bus stop. Here are its stops: - Puri Beta 2. - Puri Beta 1. - Adam Malik -JORR. - Swadarma. - Cipulir. - Seskoal. - Kebayoran Lama. - Velbag. - Mayestik. - Tirtayasa. - Rawa Barat. - Kuningan Barat. - Patra Kuningan. - Departemen Kesehatan. - GOR Sumantri. - Karet Kuningan. - Kuningan Madya. - Setiabudi Utara AINI. - Halimun.

Recently, quite a number of 13E buses have been operating. If checked on Trafi, they appear about every 15 minutes. However, perhaps due to the very large number of passengers from Kuningan, these buses often run in pairs, close together. So, if both buses in a group have passed, it will be quite a long wait for the next one. Therefore, the author's advice if you want to go to Ciledug is to board from Halimun Bus Stop, which is the first stop, or Setiabudi Utara AINI, if you still want a chance to get a seat.

The existence of Corridor XIII bus routes is very helpful, especially for the author who lives in the Ciledug area and works in the Senen area. Furthermore, the priority seating policy ensures that people with disabilities are prioritized for seats and fully assisted by staff. So, people with disabilities should not hesitate to take Trans Jakarta buses. Hopefully, this article also helps in Understanding Trans Jakarta Bus Route Corridor XIII. (DPM)
