Anna's alarm clock at home began to shriek loudly, waking anyone who heard it. “Huh... how did I get here?” Anna was startled to find herself lying in her own room. As she recalled, she had been in Ferdi's room and had just deleted a file from Ferdi's computer. When the alarm rang, she had clicked the “Turn off” button.
“Oh... my daughter is awake!” Her Father greeted, approaching Anna in her room.
“Turns out carrying you is quite heavy, my dear! I didn't realize, your body is quite solid.” Her Father said with a smile. “How did I get here, Dad?” Anna asked her Father, sounding confused.
“Well, dear... when I picked you up, you were fast asleep at the Putra Medikal guard post. You were sleeping so soundly... very soundly. So, because I didn't have the heart to wake you, I just carried you to the car.” Her Father recounted, expressing his fatigue from carrying Anna.
“So everything I did last night was just a dream?” Anna thought to herself.
“Alright, go perform your dawn prayer first, then have breakfast!” Her Father said in a fatherly tone.
“Um, Dad...” Anna paused for a moment, “Anna's got her period!” Anna whispered. Her Father just laughed at that. “Hehehe... alright then, just go shower right away, then get ready for school!” Her Father said, hurrying out of Anna's room.
Anna tried to get out of bed. But that day, her head ached terribly. Her body also felt sore all over. She stumbled out of her room. “What's wrong, Ann?” Her Mother asked, carrying a tray of breakfast towards the dining table.
“I don't know, Mom, it just suddenly became like this.” Anna said, sounding like someone with a headache.
“What's wrong, dear?” Her Father approached Anna again.
“Astagfirullah, your body is hot!” Her Father was quite surprised after feeling his daughter's rising body temperature.
“You shouldn't go to school today! Maybe you were too tired yesterday.” Her Mother said to her daughter.
“But...” Anna didn't finish her sentence. “You should follow your Mother's advice, dear! And it seems you need to see a doctor.” Her Father added.
Anna obeyed their advice. She returned to her room and lay down, no longer having the strength to stay up.

The school bell rang. Indri was seen copying her deskmate's homework. “I can't believe it, Mel, that time my friends and I were given a ride by a ghost in the form of Brother Iskandar, eek!” Indri said with a shudder to Amelia, who sat next to her.
“Pfft... it's not necessarily a ghost. In this world, God could create people with the same face, the same name, the same behavior, basically everything the same.” Amelia said with a smile.
“Mel... the problem is, Brother Iskandar doesn't have a twin. And if what you're saying is true, why did that person immediately recognize all of us so intimately, as if we'd known each other for ages?” Indri said, rejecting Amelia's argument.
“Uh... uh...” Amelia seemed confused, searching for words to counter Indri's argument.
“Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.” Mr. Marzuki, an Islamic religious teacher, entered the classroom.
“Let us immediately take positive steps. Damar, please come forward to lead the prayer this time.” Mr. Marzuki said, placing his books on the teacher's desk.
Damar immediately stepped forward, “Friends, before we begin this lesson, it is good for us to pray. So that what we learn today may be useful for ourselves, our nation, and our religion. Let us pray!” All students prayed solemnly.
“Finished.” Damar returned to his seat.
“Let us continue our lesson by opening a new discussion, which is faith in unseen beings.” The children opened their respective books.
“As we know, Allah SWT has created various beings. Both visible and invisible. The unseen beings explained in the Qur'an are divided into two groups. Namely angels, beings who are always obedient to Allah SWT. And Jinn, whose nature is almost similar to humans.” Mr. Marzuki walked around, scanning the entire class, looking for any students who were not paying attention to his explanation. But it seemed that this time, all the students were paying close attention.
“As for jinn, some are obedient to Allah, and some are disbelievers. Now, the disbelieving jinn are the manifestation of Iblis, our great enemy. The human heart is also like that; as the most perfect creature, humans are influenced by these two elements. Some hearts lean more towards the angelic element, and some lean more towards the demonic element. But what is clear is that Allah has said, ‘Indeed, I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship Me.’ Does anyone have any questions?”
Indri immediately raised her hand. She asked about something that had always been a big question mark in her mind. About the jinn she believed had disguised itself as Iskandar and given her and her friends a ride.
“Indri, I don't know for sure why all that happened to you. But what is clear is that we all must strengthen our faith in Allah SWT, believing in all the creatures He has created. My advice to you is to make all of this a unique experience for you and your friends. Because jinn also have feelings like us, even though we are more perfect than them.” Mr. Marzuki finished his explanation and sat at his desk.

That afternoon at Anna's house. In her room, Anna's feelings were still very troubled. She still couldn't fathom why she had to experience such a vivid dream. Indeed, she hated Ferdi's collections, but she felt she had no right to destroy those items. She felt that if it had all been real, what she had done would have caused a fatal rift in her relationship with Ferdi and his family. At that time, she was writing in her diary about everything she was thinking.
“Ann, Anna, open the door!” Her Mother said, knocking on Anna's bedroom door. She opened it.
“What is it, Mom?”
“Ferdi is waiting for you in the living room.” Her Mother said, looking at her daughter. Anna immediately went to Ferdi.
“What's up, Fer?” Anna said, sitting on the sofa.
“What's wrong with you? You're really out of line! What do you mean by yelling at my parents? And why did you destroy all my collections, huh?” Ferdi said, his emotions truly peaking at that moment. Her Mother served two glasses of cold water to Anna and Ferdi. “Please drink first, so your heads can think rationally.” Her Mother said kindly. Her Mother left the two of them. Anna drank the water while Ferdi did not. Anna's face became very frightened. “Did all that really happen?” Anna thought to herself.
“Answer me, Ann, how could you be so presumptuous?” Ferdi's tone rose.
“Because... I don't like all your collections. And I'm disappointed with your parents for not educating you better by letting you collect such things.” Anna said calmly, hiding the true events to avoid making things more complicated.
“You are truly disrespectful!” Sejenak Ferdi stood up for a moment, holding the glass of ice water that he hadn't drunk yet.
“It's not my parents' fault if I collect things like that. It's all my own will!” Ferdi said emotionally.
“You used to fight with Aryanto and said that what he did was a depraved act. But now what, I think you're just as depraved as him. Hypocrite!” Anna's words managed to ignite a fierce fire of anger in Ferdi's chest.
“You are truly disrespectful! Everything I did to Aryanto was a necessity to create civilized morals in our school. And he really shouldn't have done that in our school. Maybe I wouldn't even care if he did it outside of school. Enough, don't link this issue to Aryanto, we're breaking up today! Go find a guy who wants to be controlled by you!” Ferdi said, slamming the glass onto the floor until it shattered, then leaving Anna just like that. Ferdi got into his car and drove away from Anna's house as fast as he could. Anna could only cry while picking up the scattered glass shards on the floor. “What's wrong, dear...?” Her Mother asked, coming to her daughter. “Let me clean it, you should go to your room to calm down.” Her Mother continued. Anna obeyed her Mother. She went to her room and cried her heart out on her pillow. Her Mother finished cleaning the scattered glass fragments. She immediately went to Anna's room and sat on the side of her bed. “Be patient, dear! Indeed, conveying the truth is quite difficult and full of challenges. I believe you are a smart child, you will surely be able to overcome this problem quickly.” Her Mother stroked her daughter's hair and then left Anna's room.
“But Mom... everything that happened was beyond Anna's control!”
“Indeed... what really happened, dear?” Her Mother asked curiously. Anna was confused about where to start telling the story. Finally, she tried to recount the incident. Her Mother hid her surprise after listening to Anna's story and replaced it with a smile.
“Dear... we don't know Allah's plan, may this incident become a unique lesson for us.” Her Mother advised.
“Anna is scared, Mom... what should Anna do when she meets Ferdi's parents?” Anna said, her voice tearful.
Her Mother gently stroked Anna's head. “Insha Allah, everything will be fine.” Her Mother advised.
Upon arriving home, Ferdi felt even more annoyed in his room. Because the walls of his room looked very empty without decorations. He intended to reprint those pictures. But when he opened his computer, the pictures had vanished and could not be found in any folder. “That jerk must have deleted them. I wonder... what does that person want?” Ferdi grumbled, slamming his mouse. “But it's impossible, my computer is password protected. She's really good if she could open my password.” Ferdi said, sounding surprised. “Ugh... no matter what, she's really the most disrespectful girl of all the girls I've ever dated.” Ferdi grumbled, clicking “Turn off” on the computer screen. He then lay down on his bed and stared at the empty wall where photos that used to pump his adrenaline and bring him to the peak of his satisfaction were once displayed. He grabbed his phone and called someone.
“Hello...” said someone who answered Ferdi's call.
“Yeah, hello, is this Bondan?”
“Yeah, that's right, boss, what's up?”
“Hey... do you still have those kinds of photos?”
“Why, boss?”
“My ex-girlfriend threw away the photos you gave me before.”
“Why, boss, how could they be thrown away?”
“I don't know, I really hate her, she's so controlling of my life. So, I just broke up with her.” Bondan just laughed.
“But sorry, boss, I don't keep them anymore. My parents found out, and I was forced to throw away all the collections I had. I was threatened that if I kept them all, I wouldn't get pocket money and I'd be sent to my super fierce grandmother's village.” Bondan said with a tone of dread.
“Alright then, thanks.” Ferdi said, hanging up the phone in annoyance.
***
That night, Anna was still crying in her room. “Come on, dear... if you keep this up, you'll get sick. You must believe that what you did was right.” Her Mother said, comforting her daughter. Then, the doorbell rang. “Wait, I'll open the door first. Maybe your Father is home.” Her Mother got up from Anna's room and walked to the living room. She opened the door.
“Good evening, Ma'am!” Mr. Tanto said to Anna's Mother. “Uh... good evening, who are you?” Anna's Mother asked.
“We are... Ferdi's parents. We're here to meet Siti Nurhasanah.” Ferdi's Mother continued.
“I'm sorry, my daughter cannot be disturbed. Her heart is very shaken by your son's actions.” Anna's Mother said firmly.
“I understand, my brother Ferdi does have a strong personality. But believe me, Auntie, Ferdi is actually very kind. He became like that because we spoiled him too much.” Susan said.
“Please... don't hurt my daughter! I know my daughter has hurt your feelings. Therefore, as her Mother, I sincerely apologize to all of you for all my daughter's mistakes.” Anna's Mother said pleadingly.
“Believe me, Auntie, we won't hurt her, we just want to talk to her for a moment.” Susan said reassuringly. Her Mother then went to call Anna.
A few moments later, Anna came. She had resigned herself to the fact that Mr. Tanto's family would scold her relentlessly and say things she would remember for the rest of her life. Anna just bowed her head and prayed that Allah SWT would give her strength to face all of this. Her Mother, this time, accompanied her daughter. “What do you have to say?” Her Mother asked.
“Dear, look at us!” Mr. Tanto commanded. Anna still looked down. The atmosphere was silent for a moment, only Anna's sniffling, like someone with a cold, could be heard. “Come on, Ann, don't be scared!” Susan said. Slowly, Anna raised her head and began to look at them one by one. There was no hatred on their faces, only an expression that Anna herself didn't understand.
“Look at our faces, dear, faces filled with deep shame. We ourselves don't know what we should do to get rid of this shame.” Mr. Tanto said in a hoarse voice.
“We apologize, it turns out we were more foolish than you in raising our own child.” Mrs. Tanto explained.
Mr. Tanto took something out of his bag. It was a small box. He offered the box to Anna. “What is this, Uncle?” Anna said in a rather weak voice. “Open it, dear!” Mrs. Tanto commanded. Anna immediately opened the box and saw its contents. It turned out to be a beautiful diamond ring, plated with 24-karat gold, which was probably quite expensive. “That ring, we present to you. With the hope that when the time comes, you will be willing to guide Ferdi to stay on the right path.” Mrs. Tanto said with full conviction. Anna's hands trembled, then the ring and its box slipped from Anna's hand and fell to the floor.
“You mean, you want to arrange a marriage between my daughter and Ferdi? That's outrageous. What game are you playing, huh? My daughter just had her heart broken by your son, and now you want to arrange a marriage for her.” Her Mother picked up the jewelry box.
"Th-that's not what we meant...!" Susan stammered.
“I'm sorry, please leave this place!” Her Mother continued emotionally, throwing the ring right into Mr. Tanto's lap.
“W-we apologize, we don't understand why everything is getting worse.” Mr. Tanto said, getting up from the sofa with a flushed face. The family immediately bid farewell to Anna and her Mother, shaking hands. Her Mother looked at them with hatred. Finally, Mr. Tanto and his family left Anna's house.
“Mom... why did you do this to them all? It's enough that Anna is like this, Mom!” Anna said sadly.
“Dear, I love you, I don't want you to keep being sad because of Ferdi or anyone else. Forgive me, dear, I was forced to do all that just for you.” Her Mother hugged her daughter. If described, the scene was quite heartbreaking. Where the daughter hugged her Mother tightly and they both cried.
“Mom, Anna knows what Anna needs to do. You don't have to worry about Anna's sadness. Because Anna has a thousand remedies to cure all of this.” Anna released her embrace.
“Yes... I believe you, you are a child who can manage your own heart. I am proud to have a daughter like you.” “Thank you, Mom. Anna is also proud to have a Mother who loves Anna so much.”
In the car, Mr. Tanto's family looked very uneasy. “Why did Mom say that...?” Mr. Tanto asked, driving seriously. “M-Mom, it just slipped out, Dad.” Mr. Tanto's wife said nervously. “We were just giving that ring to Anna as a gift, not arranging a marriage!” Mr. Tanto said regretfully.
“Alright, alright... don't argue! It might get even more chaotic. What we need to do now is figure out how to resolve this misunderstanding.” Susan said, calming their debate.
Susan's phone rang.
"Hello...!"
"Sister Susan, this is Anna. Mom wants to talk to Sister Susan and the family!"
"Oh, yes, Ann, go ahead!" Susan activated the loudspeaker on her phone so Mr. and Mrs. Tanto could hear.
"Hello...," Anna's Mother said.
"Yes..." they answered in unison.
"I apologize for my rudeness earlier to all of you. I did that because I love my daughter very much. I can't bear to see my daughter made sad by anyone." Her Mother explained sadly.
"Yes... we understand, Ma'am... that's a natural thing for us. Now, please allow us to clarify the matter of the ring we wanted to give to Anna. We didn't mean to arrange a marriage between Anna and Ferdi, we just wanted to give that ring as a gift to Anna because she made us realize, as Ferdi's parents, that we were incompetent in raising him." Mr. Tanto said kindly.
"Oh... I see. You don't have to go to any trouble, let me explain! Actually, it wasn't Anna who did..."
"Enough, enough, enough, we already know everything. All of this is our negligence too." Mr. Tanto interrupted Anna's Mother.
"So, your family knows the real story?" Anna's Mother asked, surprised.
"Yes... let this remain a secret among those who know about this incident." Mrs. Tanto said calmly.
"Alright, Ma'am... let's just take the lesson from that incident." Mr. Tanto continued.
"Yes... by the way, where are you all now?" Anna's Mother asked.
"We'll be home soon. Come visit us sometime!" Susan said.
"Oh, thank you, Insha Allah, we will visit your home. Alright then, Wassalamualaikum." Anna's Mother immediately hung up the phone.
"Waalaikumsalam." They answered in unison.
A few minutes later, they arrived at their home.
"Come on, Mom, let's tidy up Ferdi's room!" Susan said, opening a package containing room decorations that were still lying on the sofa in the living room. They had bought these trinkets on their trip from Bandung to Jakarta. "Bi Ijah, where's Ferdi?" Susan asked Bi Ijah, who was busy preparing dinner for everyone.
"Earlier, when you all left, Ferdi also left, miss." Bi Ijah explained to Susan.
"You don't know where Ferdi went, Auntie?" Mrs. Tanto asked.
"No, Ma'am... I was afraid to ask Young Master Ferdi where he was going. I saw him wearing his band costume earlier." Bi Ijah explained while arranging dinner on the dining table.
Susan and her Mother then went to Ferdi's room and began their work.

At Bram's band studio. The band members were testing the instruments they were about to play.
“Hey... when are we starting?” Shouted Bombom, a drummer.
“Soon, our boss is still on his way.” Answered Bondan, the band's bassist.
A young man was seen running breathlessly towards the studio. “Sorry I'm late. Have you been waiting long?”
“No, not really. Anyway, before we practice, it's a good idea to warm up first. I've prepared something very special for all of you.” Bram immediately took a CD from its case and inserted it into the CD player. A 60-inch screen was displayed in front of them. Then, some text appeared on the screen, “Welcome to one unforgettable hour! This film is originally made in Indonesia.” Then an opening sound that quite surprised them all was heard. The host began to speak, “Welcome to the film 'One Unforgettable Hour'. This film is specifically for those of you who love the world of free sex, or are just getting to know this culture. We are very happy to present all of this, because this performance will spoil all of you. I, Aldo Rikardo, will accompany you throughout the screening of this film.” The audience seemed quite serious watching it. “This film has been neatly arranged by our film arranger Dadang Sunarwan. And the objects have been strictly filtered by our team, from realistic ones to those you have never seen before. This film also comes with full narration in uncensored language, as well as sound effects, all of which are intended for all of you to truly enjoy this film. Happy watching!” The film scene began with sexy girls standing in a swimming pool. The girls were still high school level. “This film specifically features girls who are still teenagers and in high school.” The host explained.
Thirty minutes had passed, and the audience seemed satisfied watching the scenes that were quite captivating for them. From the swimming pool scene, changing room, to the bathroom scene, nothing disappointed them at all. Ferdi too, even though his head was starting to ache, he was quite satisfied.
“Satisfied? That's nothing yet, that was just a warm-up. Our team has successfully found partners to perform a rather heavy scene. We paid them handsomely for this scene. We did all this just to satisfy all of you. Happy watching.” Without hesitation, this scene was indeed very heavy. Heavier than the live scene Aryanto and his partner had ever done. More exciting than all the pictures, magazines, and even films Ferdi once owned before Anna destroyed them. The film displayed styles that made the audience feel as if they were participating in it. They all truly enjoyed it. But for some reason, Ferdi's headache worsened. He couldn't fully enjoy the film. So, he chose to go out of the room to get some fresh air. “Damn it, I can't take it anymore. I feel like throwing up, ugh...!” Suddenly Ferdi vomited in front of Bram's house. “My body really doesn't feel good, maybe I caught a cold.” Ferdi immediately went to his car. He decided to just go home and not practice with the band that night.
***
Inside the band studio, the audience remained serious watching the film, and at that moment was the climax scene with supporting sound, which was the peak satisfaction provided by the film. And finally, the film ended.
“I'm sooooo satisfied. I feel like I've released a huge burden from within me.” Bondan said, truly enjoying the film. Bram immediately pulled the cassette from his CD player. “How was it, satisfied?” Bram asked. “Satisfied...” they said in weak voices, exhausted.
“Hey, where's the boss?” Bombom asked when he saw the empty guitar stand.
“He probably went home, he seemed like he couldn't take it anymore.” Bondan explained.
“Isn't he a sex master?” Bram asked, surprised.
“I don't know, that kid is weird, maybe the dose was too high, Bram.” Bondan explained.
“So, are we practicing?” Bombom asked. “Can you even still hit your drums? Oh well, let's practice some other time. You all must be exhausted from watching that high-dose film for quite a long time.” They all agreed, and finally left the studio.

A few hours later, Susan and her Mother finished tidying up Ferdi's room.
"It's beautiful, Mom!" Susan said, marveling at the appearance of Ferdi's room.
"Wow... the room is so beautiful, Mom! Who decorated it?" Exclaimed Mr. Tanto, who had been watching Susan and her Mother's hard work all along.
"Who else but..." Mrs. Tanto said. "Us..." Mrs. Tanto and Susan answered in unison, laughing.
"Excuse me, dinner is ready!" Bi Ijah said to all of them who were admiring the beauty of Ferdi's room. They immediately ate dinner.
“Dad and Mom left Ferdi. Ugh... Cheaters!” Ferdi said childishly, arriving from his routine band practice. “Well... we were already hungry. If we waited for you... our stomachs would be doing dangdut or even qasidah.” His Father joked, chewing the food he had just spooned from his plate. “Here's your food, young master!” Bi Ijah served a very special meal for Ferdi. Ferdi's face looked quite happy, as this was the first time Ferdi had eaten his favorite food. “Ferdi's going first, Dad, I'm really tired. I don't know why, even though I just left the house.” Ferdi said after dinner. “Oh yes, please, and enjoy your new room!” Ferdi was quite surprised when his Mother said “new room.” He immediately checked his room. And indeed, the condition of his room had changed significantly. Its appearance became cheerful, with paintings of birds seemingly flying, and landscape paintings with green plants. Calligraphy adorned the walls of his room. “Who changed Ferdi's room?” Suddenly Ferdi became emotional and returned to the dining room to meet his parents, who were still sitting at the table enjoying dessert. “What's wrong, dear, what's wrong?” His Father said with a calm face. “Who changed Ferdi's room?” Ferdi said in a loud and emotional tone.
“Your Mother and your Sister changed it.” Mr. Tanto said gently. “You must have been influenced by Anna. Ferdi hates her, Mom, Ferdi hates her! She always tries to control Ferdi. Ferdi isn't a child anymore! Besides, why are Dad and Mom still in touch with her, after Mom and Dad were insulted? Ferdi loves Mom, Ferdi loves Dad, Ferdi doesn't want Mom and Dad to be treated like that.” Ferdi said, his voice starting to crack.
“We understand your feelings. We apologize if we were presumptuous in changing your room like that. We did all this because we love you, dear. We wanted the atmosphere of your room not to be too static, with pictures that might have been on your wall for a very long time. Who knows, with the new atmosphere we've given you, you might feel more comfortable.” His Mother said gently.
“Now go to your room, try out the atmosphere first. Well, if by tomorrow the atmosphere makes you uncomfortable, you can change it back to how you want it. OK?” His Father kissed his son's cheek.
Ferdi finally relented and went to his room. "Just consider it a cooling down after watching that kind of movie with Bondan and your friends!" Susan blurted out loudly from the dining room.
"Watching what movie, dear?" His Mother asked innocently.
"It's... the Mak Lampir movie. Susan meant for Ferdi's fear to disappear after seeing that room." Susan replied.
"Oh... I thought it was something else." His Mother also said innocently.
Ferdi lay down on his bed and looked around. The effect was starting to be felt. His mind felt calmer and more relaxed. Far from things that smelled of immorality. He just sat lost in thought in his room, trying to re-imagine his beautiful moments with Anna. He couldn't sleep until morning.
Anna too, only slept for 1 hour that night, because her mind was not at peace throughout the night.
***
The next day, all the students in Ferdi's class were quite noisy. They were bustling around, looking for chemistry homework answers. But something was different with Ferdi and Anna. They were silent and indifferent to each other. They sat very far apart. Several pairs of eyes watched them. “Shhh... what's wrong with them?” Farah whispered to her deskmate. “According to the rumors... Ferdi broke up with Anna because Anna threw a tantrum and destroyed all of Ferdi's collections.”
“You mean, those kinds of collections?”
“Maybe, anyway, Mr. Ratmanto is here.” Farah's deskmate said.
Mr. Ratmanto was a rather strict history teacher. Even though he was strict, his explanations often made the students extremely bored.
“Alright, children, we will continue our discussion from last week.” Mr. Ratmanto sat in his chair, opening his history textbook. The children followed suit. But Ferdi and Anna did not; their books remained closed. They just sat with their heads down on their desks.
“So, children, the Majapahit kingdom was...” Suddenly, Mr. Ratmanto saw Ferdi and Anna with their heads down on their respective desks, their heads resting on closed history textbooks. “Hey... wake up!” Mr. Ratmanto said, slamming Anna's desk. Anna was startled and realized she had fallen asleep. “It's already noon! Always sleeping.” Now Mr. Ratmanto slammed Ferdi's desk. Ferdi was equally startled; he also woke up.
“All of you, follow me and bring your books!” Mr. Ratmanto said to Ferdi and Anna. All the students looked at them with mocking glances. Mr. Ratmanto took them all to the library. “Please summarize the material from page 20 to page 42!” Mr. Ratmanto said firmly after they all arrived at the library. “But, Sir...” Ferdi protested. “No 'buts'! This assignment must be submitted today. I'll be waiting!” Mr. Ratmanto said, rejecting Ferdi's protest as he walked away from them. They took seats far apart, and Ferdi shot Anna a hateful look. “This damn teacher... it's crazy that I have to summarize such thick material. Besides, what's that girl doing here, just making me more annoyed!” Ferdi thought to himself, reading the textbook and starting to summarize it. “What should I summarize? I think everything is important. Should I just write everything down?” Ferdi felt confused because he didn't know what to note down and what not to.
Three hours had passed, but they hadn't finished summarizing the material. Ferdi started to get tired because his summary was only halfway done. His head ached from reading too much material continuously. Meanwhile, Anna had almost finished her summary. Only one more page left. Secretly, Ferdi glanced at Anna and looked at Anna's summary from his seat. “That girl is crazy, what kind of magic does she have to summarize so fast?” Ferdi thought in surprise. “I don't want to lose, I have to be able to finish this summary!” Ferdi started to feel motivated.
A few minutes later, Anna had finished her summary. She immediately tidied up her stationery. She walked to the table where Ferdi was summarizing. She felt sympathetic when Ferdi was copying material that she thought was less important to copy. “What are you looking at!” Ferdi said when he realized Anna was watching him. “This part doesn't need to be written!” Anna said sympathetically, pointing to the line that began with the sentence “What do you think about trade activities during the Hindu/Buddhist kingdoms in Indonesia?” which Ferdi was writing at that moment. Anna then immediately left Ferdi. Ferdi was quite annoyed because his summary was criticized again.
“Damn, my body is so sore!” Ferdi said, stretching his arms upwards to relax his muscles. “It's weird, why isn't my summary finished yet?” Ferdi said, continuing to write. “Damn it... what's wrong with this pen now?” Ferdi said when the ink stroke from his pen wasn't visible. He tapped his pen on the table, hoping it would work again. But his efforts were in vain because the ink had run out. “Ugh, and this is my only pen.” Ferdi said in annoyance. “Want to borrow my pen?” Suddenly Anna offered her pen. It turned out that Anna had been standing at the library door all this time. “Thanks, I can still buy one at the co-op.” Ferdi said curtly. “The co-op isn't open yet, Fer.” Anna said softly. “It's fine, I can borrow from someone else later, as long as it's not you.” Ferdi said emotionally.
Finally, Anna truly left Ferdi. “I'm amazed by that girl, I've been rude to her, I've yelled at her, and she still wants to talk nicely to me.” Ferdi thought, even more surprised. He then moved to a table closer to the air conditioner. “Oh well, I'll continue later, I'll rest first.” Ferdi thought. At that time, he intended to find a replacement pen during the break. But it seemed the break was still quite a while away. He then lowered his head again until he unknowingly fell asleep again.
